problems installing CM 7

so i got the file from CM's site and followed their guide HTC Evo 4G: Full Update Guide - CyanogenMod Wiki. for flashing CM 7, i followed the ClockworkMod Recovery process and followed the second method. when it came to step 9, i encountered a problem. after selecting the CM 7 file, i got an error saying "e: cant open [the file name] (bad) installation aborted" after i got this error a few times, i restored to my most recent back up. anyone have any ideas about why this is happening? and what i can do?

May be a bad download. You could try downloading the file again from the CM site.
