Calendar App suddenly slowed down and lagged when I...

my Calendar really started lagging and getting slow to open (several seconds of blank/black calendar display) after i did this -

1. added "US Holidays" Calendar from Google.
2. added "Calendar Pad" free App.

my regular Calendar ALWAYS worked VERY VERY fast (INSTANT) before adding #1 and #2. immediately after adding these 2 I began to have a PALM PRE-like several second lag in the both Default Calendar AND the Calendar Pad widget when opening them.

SO - i deleted #1 and #2 and powered down and back up again and now my Calendar is INSTANT BLAZING FAST again.

this experience has scared me off from extra Calendars and Widgets that are NOT native to PIMS. i'm sticking with the default calendar app and no extra calendars.

any thoughts on what's going on? anyone experience this?
