I bought my palm pre 1 year ago, I'm a premier member and eligible for an upgrade today. On sprints website it says the Evo will cost $375 to upgrade to and makes no mention of a mail in rebate. If I buy it at Best buy would it actually be $275 or the same $375.

I was able to upgrade from 2 palms pre's to two HTC EVO 4G. they were both available for upgrades for $150 for each phone. I got them at Radioshack because they offer instant rebates. So the final cost was $150 for each EVO

Perhaps I should have gone to the Shack :) I just upgraded from the Palm Pre to the Evo yesterday. In store price was $299 (I think the non upgrade/full price is $449), and they gave me a $100 mail in rebate so that brings the final price to $199.

I don't know where the RBorden got $150 from.

The upgrade price from the Pre to the EVO, assuming you have been on for a full year now, would be $200 AFTER mail in rebate from Sprint. At Best Buy/Radioshack, the cost would be $200, no rebates.

I upgraded from the Pre to the EVO thought Best Buy. $199.99 and no hassle of dealing with a rebate. They also took care of the activation fee of $18. :) I believe you also get %15 off any EVO accessories you buy the same as the phone.
