App update delay

Quite often when I update my apps, the download sits and sits and takes forever to actually download. It used to download/install instantly, but that changed awhile back.

I grabbed my friends Verizon Eris and it updated immediately on the same app mine is sitting idle on. 2.2 issue maybe?

Any suggestions to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Mine does that sometimes. Are you using 3G/4G or WiFi?

That happens to me all the time. I log into Talk and then log back out. The download starts up immediately.

3G. Seems to happen quite often. My apps, 3 of them, still haven't updated.

Thanks! It worked for me, I logged into Talk and the downloads started immediately. Never would've thought about that.

I noticed with mine that the 3G icon wasn't lit up for whatever reason. It's been hit or miss lately.
