Hello I had a question about the infrared feature on the HTC one. Does anyone know if it is bidirectional? As in, can it recieve infrared signals as well as send them? I am wanting to know because if it is not, it will limit it's usefulness for things like a learning remote, or other 3rd party software inventions.... Thanks!

Yes it is bidirectional and learns in the stock remote app :)

Yeah, I figured this out last night when I was fiddling with the remote app. I can just point my real remote at the power button and it will perform that function at the press of an assigned button.
