Why don't my HTC One M8 notifications play correctly?

htc one m8 notifications dont play correctly

Hi I have an htc one m8 stock android 5.0.1. Recently i have noticed that after making or receiving a phone call the first notification that comes in will not play. (unless i set a longer notification tone where it will play the last part of the tone). I have checked a friends m8 and his is the same. It seems as though the phone dose not switch back to the main speakers fast enough after a phone call. I have already spoken to htc support but I may as well bash my head against a brick wall. I know its not a major problem just more of annoyance. Please help

Welcome to the forums. It is most likely a bug in the ROM, since it is on your friends M8, too. I am running a custom ROM, and I don't have a problem with sound changes. Unfortunately, there is not much that can be done.
