Dead spot on screen

Anyone have a dead spot on their screen? It's slightly right and left of center about 1in x 1in on either side. Seems to be there on vertical motions. I checked with the touch pointer in developer options with a blank lock screen. I should probably exchange the phone because this isn't a software issue is it?.

doesn't sound like it. Are the pixels dead? I use an app called "Dead Pixel Test" that goes through all colors and will show if pixels are dead or not.

Hmmm... I would suggest getting it replaced cause whatever the problem is, it may escalate later on and then maybe the warranty would've expired.

I made a dead pixel video of my Tegra 3 version. Soon as I get some views/comments, I.e. some leverage against HTC, I'll try to ask for a replacement. If not then I'll settle for a repair. Hope this works for my problem...

Thats a screen fault....
