See this post: http://forums.androidcentral.com/htc-one-x/210532-url-bin-download-finished-what.html Maybe its related? DB: what version of software are you running on the HOX? This could be some minor fix, or it could be something in preparation for JellyBean. 12meg is pretty small.

Maybe they are fixing the url handling that some complain about (mostly at&t models) but it seems just as likely they are crippling it more.
