Has anyone had trouble with the stock Android search widget. For a while now, whenever I do a search, it will flash that message and then shut down before the search completes. The only remedy has been to uninstall the Ebay app. Anyone?

I would see who developed the ebay application and contact them and report the error. I personally do not use that app.

Me either but if you recentally updated to jelly bean that mite be it.

Huh, I figured everyone used the Official Ebay App. I usually report all crashes, but haven't gone so far as to contact them directly. I think too, that it has something to do with the meta search Sense does to check the entire phone and Ebay whenever a search is conducted from that search bar. Also, I have an AT&T HOX, so no JB yet. :-(

You know if I was still thrift store shopping and such, I would always have it on my phone. I just don't have a use for the ebay app on my phone right now. 85% of my awake hours I am within reach of a computer.
