    Default G6 - a midrange phone

The G6 has a 4.5-inch 540 x 960 (qHD) display, 2000mah battery, and is pretty thin at 7.85mm and will set you back $342 ( €249). It has a quad core 1.2GHz chip and is a category 4 lte device(capable of speeds up to 150mbps) , which is nice for a mid range device. For reference, the Galaxy S4 is a lte category 3 device capable of speeds up to 100mbps. It is not clear if it would land state side, but if it does, my guess is pricing would be adjusted.

Looks to be a decent mid tier device. Which is good. Bringing up the bar on those gives even more options to choose from as opposed to the choice of a flagship or a bad device.

I got this phone a couple of weeks ago and have managed to root it with Towelroot. Are there any plans for development of custom roms/recovery recovery, unlock bootloader etc? Can't find anything anywhere
