P9 plus from china, google play store not working

Hi there, my nephew was presented with a huawei p9 plus over in china. As he is an iphone user he gave it to me. Its 64gb vie-al10.
I changed the language to english but a lot of the chinese stuff remained. I then did a restore of my honor 6 plus and it kinda worked with the exception of google play store and play services, they wont run so music, video,books etc wont run either. Can i do anything to turn this into a uk model?. I have tried various apks of google play services to no avail. Also what is android infineon balong-ril 1.0 ? . have never heard og it. Build number is vie-al10c741b180.
Os version M(6.0)

Go to the HiStore if it is present and search for "Google".

The first banner should show a list of Google apps when tapped. Install them and change some permissions so that they run without much issue.
