rooting with andriod 2.3.3

is there a root for the HTC inspire when running with andriod 2.3.3?
i really need to root it, buddys simple root wont work with it.

or is there a way to downgrade to 2.2.1 without rooting?

Ace Hack Kit 12.3 works on 2.3.3. Buddy root may not have been updated.

There may be a way to get 2.2.1, try the htc.com Inspire forums.

AT&T must have pushed 2.3.3 to my phone within the last two weeks or so. I've been having trouble with my app icons turning generic, my assigned ring tones don't hold (I have to keep reassigning them if the phone falls below 10% battery left), and my AQUARIUM FREE screen keeps being changed. I'm really disappointed with 2.3.3 from AT&T! Is the anyway to root the phone and install a better rom? Also, where can I go to perform a dl/ul test?
