Good day to all.

I've just purchased my first smart phone, a Samsung Exhibit 2, from T-Mobile . I'm not a hi-tech person, and have joined this forum to learn the procedure for uninstalling pre-loaded apps on this phone. Guidance from Forum members would be much appreciated.

Welcome! You have a lot to learn, but it's fun to take control of your device and make it into what you want. The general path is Root --> Custom Recovery --> Backup! --> Custom ROM (optional). Most custom ROMs do the work for you in terms of removing the bloat. If you want to go further, there are guides out there regarding what pre-installed apps are safe to remove, respective to each device.

As always, my suggestion is to learn to do things with ADB and avoid automated tools until you know what they do.

Good luck!

Epidenimus, thank you for your kind greeting and guidance. :) I'm looking forward to following the "general path" which you've suggested. Many thanks,

George
