I'm looking at getting a Kindle Fire HDX and was curious if the web browser supported Javascript? I have a few Google Play books I'd like to read via the web browser.

    Thanks!

why not buy a Nexus 7 and use amazon services. kindle is so much restricted when it comes to usability and features..

I know that chrome on nexus support javascript. not sure about kindle

Yes, the Silk browser supports Javascript.

by the way, I have lots of real Android devices and I'm in love with my new Fire HDX 8.9. It's the perfect size and is very fast. Wifi browsing is faster than with either my Samsung 10.1 or my Note 3.
