Sudden failure of Google Play Servcies
Until recently I had a fully functional Google system on my Kindle 8.9 HDX 2013 model which I had rooted through Towel. Then starting last weekend on my trip to Mepacon I kept getting constant "google play service" quit unexpectedly notices. which persisted until I deleted the Play Service app. tried reinstalling using 1Mobile, kept getting parsing errors. It would reinstall from the Play Store but go back to the constant cycle of quitting.
Does this have to do with any recent updates to Play Services that I might not have noticed? Both Root checker and SuperSu say that the device is rooted. Play Music still works as does the Play Store, can't get google plus or gmail running as they both require play services.
