Why is my wifi disconnected when my phone is locked?

Hi everyone,

I have samsung Lenovo, when my phone goes in sleep/lock mode the wifi disconnects. when i unlock my phone then wifi connects again.

What is your device, is the brand Samsung or Lenovo? The root of the issue may be in the Wi-Fi settings.

Go to:
Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi settings > Keep Wi-Fi on when screen is off
~ This option may be set to [OFF] or [ONLY WHEN PLUGGED IN]. If so, set it to [YES] and it should keep Wi-Fi on while in the device's sleep/locked state.
