If you have the 4.4.2 update, the most common cause is Swiftkey or Google Keyboard on the Flex. But it could be some other apk with issues under the new OS version.

Yeah I know the feels. LG stock is decent, a tad less functional than my Samsung tablet stock keyboard (slide finger on board to move cursor).

I may get a bluetooth keyboard for this yet.
