I think if it's not gimicky it would be a great feature. Especially if it can be turned off like on the 3DS.

How much of a premium will they charge because of it, though?

Well it takes 3D pictures but it does not have glasses free 3D. I think you will need glasses for the 3D. :( Now I am getting the Xoom.

3D in a tablet is 100% gimmick. I would much rather have a high quality 2D panel that was crystal clear.

3D isn't nearly prevalent enough to make this even remotely useful.

Nothing about being a Google experience has to do with an unlocked (or easily accessible) bootloader. It just can't have a skin is all. The G2 is a "with Google" phone and has a mostly locked bootloader for example.

I don't like the Optimus lol, but that tablet shows promise... if that thing is pure Google, updates will get pushed much faster. I am still wondering if Honeycomb will be for phones such as the Nexus S

Its a gimmick that most will just throw aside. Watch them throw avatar on there just to have an excuse. It will work just fine without 3D. I'm waiting for the price and I can't really find the exact specs on size so its hard to compare with the xoom. There have been people saying that the xoom was a little on the heavy side.

Yeah a German website I believe posted a price of about 1,000 something when converted to USD, so I am pretty sure I am either getting the Flyer or the Streak 7, but as of now the Streak 7 seems better with flash, 4g, and dual core Tegra 2

I doubt it will be $1000. They converted it but that is no proof that that will be the price in the US. Like the Nexus S in Europe is ?429.95 (about $700). The Nexus S isn't $700 here.I have no doubt they will change the price to make it more affordable.

+1 to this. Prices on these things overseas tend to be more expensive than here, anyway. I'd hold off until we get some solid evidence of pricing here in the States.

Anyone know any legal ways to get 3D movies onto it? This could be a good device to hold me over until 3D tvs go glasses free.
