Rooted Verizon G3 Getting frustrated, Cant get rid of available update

I rooted my G3 about 3 weeks ago and have had no problems. About 2 weeks ago Verizon or LG came out with the system update that does something with the camera but not really that important. I keep gettingthe System update ready to install message and I cannot get it to go away. I tried the typing the verizon number and disabling OTA updates as well as the hiddenmenu.apk and FOTAkill.apk. I deleted everything from the cache folder yet the system update is available keeps coming up all day long. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Deleting the file in /cache/ will get rid of the OTA but will not get rid of the notification. To get rid of notification:
1. Pull the notification shade down on your phone
2. Long press on the OTA notification until you see the App Info option pop up.
3. Click App Info and uncheck the Show Notifications box.

I did the same as you mentioned - works great for me - Sprint - Rooted - Xposed
