AT&T new update?

I just got a notification from AT&T that there is a software update. Anyone know anything about it as I did not hear of any kind of update for the G3.

I got the same notice. I updated. The OS version remained at 5.0.1 but a new AT&T mail app showed up in my app drawer...

That update is causing me some issues. My wife has a LG3 as well and whenever we talk to each other she sounds different. Louder, kinda tinney. Nobody else sounds like that. Any idea what it could be? I am going to call tech support in the day or so.
