Question Some sort of hidden update?

I noticed that about a month ago. Every time there are updates, the notification always shows one more than the ones actually available, as if there is some sort of hidden update.

It's Brazilian Portuguese and reads (freely translated):

1 new update
Total of 2 pending updates
Update all

Then I click on Update all, but when I check there is only one update.

Is it a bug or something else? And how to solve it? TIA.

See this thread as well: https://forums.androidcentral.com/threads/missing-update-in-play-store-app.1066028/. I've been seeing this for a while. I think it's just a bug -- send feedback to Google about it, and maybe they'll get around to fixing it.

I've seen this mentioned before in the forums, can clear play store data then force stop it and make sure Google's play system is up to date to find that go to settings>about phone>software information>tap on Google Play system update to see if ones available
