My Verizon G4 was purchased in Aug 2015, got stuck in bootloops in Feb 2016 and was replaced under warranty.
Unfortunately, I had the "split screen madness" problem develop over the last week, and by yesterday the screen had completely stopped responding. I did a factory reset and used the LG Repair tool to completely wipe, all to no avail.
Unfortunately, a warranty unit only has 90 days warranty coverage, so I'm out of pocket. Luckily, Verizon let me out of my contract early and shifted me to a device payment plan. Picked up a Pixel XL, waiting for it to be mailed to me next week. I'll end up paying $32/month extra for the phone, but Line Access Fee will drop by $20 so I'll call it a wash
