I dropped my G5 last night, something I've done a handful of other times without any issues, but this time the screen got messed up pretty bad. The screen unlocked normally, gestures seemed to be working, and I was able to navigate between a couple apps problem-free. I attempted to launch the camera app, however, and a screen appeared explaining that the battery was too low to power on (?). I plugged my phone into my wall charger, and the boot loop began.
I have tried everything... safe mode, USB debug mode, reconnecting the battery, leaving to charge, etc., but nothing has worked. The only thing I haven't done is a factory reset, because there a several photos I was hoping to salvage (yes, I know... I should have backed them up through Google, microSD card, or any number of other options. Lesson learned).
Question 1: Is there a way to access the flash storage directly from the board?
Question 2: What are your thoughts on swapping the board into the replacement phone (on the way) to see if the OS will boot?
Thanks in advance to any help you all can provide!
