Question about charges form android market

i recently bought my first app from the market using my debit card. when i went online to check my account i noticed the 2 charges for apps then 2 $1 charge as well from the market. So when buying an app from the market do they charge an extra $1 every time? thanks

Should be one charge per purchase...

example: i bought btunes music player and have a $1.50 charge. then underneath a $1 charge that doesnt have the name of an app

i searched around some more and it looks like google puts it there then takes it off once it is finalized

Its just a placeholder to verify that the card is valid. As you said, it comes of and the actual charge is put through. Its done primarily for pay-at-the-pump gas charges.
