In the stock SMS app, you can go to an failed unsent message, open it, and click on the menu button. One of the options listed is resend.

Behavior is regardless of speakerphone on or off?

Try off/on cycle. Try different USB cable. Sometimes, there may be a few seconds delay before it starts charging. If none of those work, you may have a defective phone / USB connector.

You can resend. From the message, hit Options/Menu button and resend.

You can get a widget that will display time and date on one of your pages.

Is this in the stock SMS app? It happens to me every now and then when switching from WiFi to HSPA in a weak HSPA area. My fix has been to turn mobile data off/on. I haven't found the source of the problem, but it hasn't happened often enough to warrant research or complaint.

I didn't get it as a notification. I went into settings, software update, check for updates and got it from there. About 14 MB in size and installed OTA no problems.

For most apps in the Market, those are standard legal disclaimers. If you see the H icon with red/green arrows, you are on mobile data network (3G/4G). You know when you are on WiFi b/c that icon goes away and you see the WiFi signal indicator icon.

On mine, when I connect via USB to the PC, the option screen for what type of connection I want comes up and stays up until I cancel or select one. Just for testing, try a different USB cable, different USB port, and different PC. Good luck.

Mine always come through in slideshow format (with the play button) even if a single photo. But they always display. I haven't experience 1 or 2 on your post. Stock Infuse? Stock Messaging App? You could try a different Messaging app from the Market.
