Re: AT&T HTC One X 4.2.2 Update I'm stock and I've been trying to update, but it keeps erroring out when I get to the restart. It says "There was a problem with this software update that prevented installation. Please wait for another update". I've tried restarting and waiting a couple days.

Yeah, i ran speedtest with bluetooth on and off. The signal would cut in and out every couple seconds. It's clearly interfering. I think the only thing to do is get a dual band router, so I can connect with 5ghz.

Cmon, somebody's gotta at least tell me this happens to them so I don't assume my phone is broken.

I was always suspect of this, but now I have confirmation. Last night I was streaming some live video to my phone in high quality (twitch app, watching starcraft 2). I also have a little bluetooth speaker that I was using. So it turns out, that the video would lag when the bluetooth speaker...

So, the usb Xbox 360 controller doesn't work (for some reason) on the USB on the go for the HOX. This sucks. So, what about the ps3 controller? Is it possible to use the usb cable to use it? What about through bluetooth? I'm assuming you have to root for bluetooth, since the sixaxis...

I'm assuming because you can't get the OTA while rooted. That's the problem I had with the very first OTA that fixed my wifi problems. I had to unroot before I could get the ota, even though I was completely stock otherwise.

For some reason ES file manager won't let me browse anything but my "mnt/sdcard". I have to use Astro to access my thumb drive.

Dang, it looks like the xbox wired controller does not work. That's strange, because there should be native drivers for it in jelly bean.

Yeah, I have never considered getting a nexus phone as much as right now. I would love a nexus 4 right now, even though the LTE isn't there. As far as disadvantages, personally I had trouble with my wifi connectivity, and the last att was needed to fix that. Now there's other fixes for that...

Ok, here is my response to most of the opinions on here. 1 - why do people complain when they don't have a nexus device: It's not a matter of being later than nexus, it's a matter of ATT not pushing the HOX update specifically. I could compare it to other brands and such, but there is no need...

I'm too frustrated to make another funny post like last time. This is absolutely ridiculous. We're now 3 upgrades behind nexus devices. 3 upgrades. note: please don't chime in with "you can install a custom rom". This is android central, I know what I can do with my android.

I'm considering getting ViperXL just to get the playstation mobile apps for free this month

The only reason I havn't installed a custom rom is because I was having issues with the wifi before the latest att update. I was rooted before that, and had to do a lot of annoying steps to get back to stock, so that I could get the update. Would those wifi issues be there if i used a custom rom?
