I initially had problems with the Gear S3 & my new Galaxy S9+ Unlocked model. I was able to pair them successfully but I couldn't install the Samsung Pay Gear S plugin. Factory resetting the Gear S3 solved all my issues.

Did you end up buying the Verizon GS8 and try to use it on Sprint? Maybe it will work after you flash the Verizon GS8 with the Sprint GS8 firmware and then activate it on Sprint by adding the device with the IMEI number.

Because of a few shortcomings and unmet expectations, I'll most likely skip the GS8. Wished the FPS was beneath the front glass, the camera tech was more improved, the microsd got updated to the next-gen format, and coral blue was one of the launch colors.

On Marshmallow on the regular Sprint 935P rom, I can hit 4-5 hrs SOT. On the 935U rom, I can hit a little beyond 6 hrs SOT. But on the 935P Nougat, I'm only getting 3.5 - 4 hrs SOT. These stats are based on my regular 6am to 11:30 pm cycle.

I went for the Edge for its bigger battery & screen. With a case, accidental Edge touches can be greatly minimized.

For me, it's been pretty much 100%. Google fails me once in a while for Asian business names, though, like restaurants.

The Note 4 is still a great phone. Among Samsung phones, I'd say the only phone that's better is the GS7E.

Looking at this thread, it seems Samsung has severely underestimated the demand for the Gear S3. Hope you guys who want one can get it as soon as possible. I've been rocking my Gear S3 Classic since Nov 22nd (preordered on Nov 1st) and it's been a blast.

AT&T did release the first value pack. In fact, they released it even before the unlocked models, which I know b/c I owned an AT&T S2 3G from Nov of last year until Nov of this year. Does your watch show a yellow dot on the watchface screen when you receive a notification?

So far Samsung Pay on my Gear S3 Classic has been 100% success rate - McDonald's, El Pollo Loco, Nordstrom, TJ Maxx, CVS, Costco, Smart & Final, Target, Walmart, Daiso, Paris Baguette, & Arirang & H-Mart supermarkets.
