Yes, this is exactly what happened to me. And when I try System Update, it tells me that the service is temporarily unavailable.

I'm happy with stock TouchWiz.

No problems here, but I haven't tried some of the things I see here either.

Re: Messages vs Message+ on S5 I tend to be on wi-fi at home and at work to save on data, and I discovered with the Samsung Message app any MMS messages wouldn't come through until I switched wi-fi off. Not an issue with Message+. The Message+ app (Verizon) meets my needs so I prefer it. YMMV.

I had this happen to me. Choose LOCK from those three options. Sounds wrong, but it works. When you choose lock, it will ask you to create a password. Once you do that, the password becomes active on your phone, and using it gets you past the lockscreen and where you want to be.

Pull down the notification bar, then click the little window-looking icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen, just to the right of the settings gear. Quick Connect will be one of the available options onscreen.

In my experience with the S5 so far, the first 10% of the battery drains quickly. It doesn't take long for it to drop from 100% to 90%. It tends to drain MUCH more slowly after that, and if I start at 100% first thing in the morning it's rare I'm below 50% before bedtime.

I've had my S5 for a few weeks now and I can't find anything to complain about. Sure I get the stupid "Unfortunately VZWAVSServices has stopped" message after every reboot - but I figure that will get fixed at the next Google+ update, the Android L upgrade, or when Verizon decides to fix...

I love this phone too. My RAZR got laggy and slow even after factory resets. I set up blocking on a timer. No icon in the taskbar at present. I think this is gonna work. Posted via the Android Central App

Looks like blocking mode will give me exactly what I want, thank you! However, if it doesn't work out I'll give Silence Premium a try. I'm always willing to pay a couple of bucks for no ads in my apps.
