I'm on 4.4.4 and I've done the same things as you and no luck.

I can't get my faces to change to the new ones. I can customize it but it won't push to the watch. I have reset the watch and reinstalled the moto connect app with no luck. Any ideas ?

Yes. I have bought many movies on my tab and they all play. When you buy a movie or tv show it stays in googles cloud, it doesnt actually download to your device. You can choose to download it if you'd like if you're going to be somewhere with no wifi (Internet is required for streaming ). Hope...
