Didn't we all just get this and the mouse free from moto as they couldn't shift them? Got mine but useless until I get the 3.1 or above update (expected kn August for europe).

This is one of the may issues with this device, its all empty promises, they should have either released it with everything working or delayed it - it is now getting user like myself not wanting to recommend it because its lacking in many ways and the Apple product is a working, no hassle...

Ipad2 has my vote too, I have both the iPad (1) and Xoom and so far the Xoom is just not up to speed yet, again if you like to tinker and think thats what you will spend and enjoy your time doing then get a Xoom (or cheaper version ASUS etc) but if you want to actually use it productively then...

United Kingdom - EU - which means we are still yet to see 3.1 honeycomb, no cloud storage, no pandora, no netflix etc. Etc.

If only the Android Honeycomb Xoom could be used by business but in its current state it cannot, it has less business orientated apps, simple things like Cisco VPN / WebEx etc. are not supported (well they are in specific ways but not fully), its just too hard to break into Corp business with...

USA only, the rest of the world don't comply with the USA so just steal them until there is a legit way to rent them.

Business want a professional device that can attach to corporate and be secure, Apple ipad is trusted, blackberry is trusted, google honeycomb and android is not a business professional tool thus will lose major sales and has.

EU version is yet to be released, the post you saw was someone who bought a Xoom in the Us then brought to the UK and stated the update was live here... Forum manager has already confirmed they haven't a clue and that Google themselves are managing the updates not Moto. Waiting...

Hope no update here in the eu so only going on the stock unstable versin I have, shame there is no official roll out plan for customers and its very region specific. Customisation is great and all that but there's only so much time you can spend doing that before you get bored and actualy want...

Ipad2 - Simple, trusted Apps and many more of them that are supported and work, simple interface, tied to iTunes. I have an iPad and Xoom and so far the iPad is the more reliable and has so much more support from external companies including VPN for work, Apps for TV and streaming, trusted apps...

Just think yourselves lucky us EU buyers won't see it for months and will struggle on with the crappy browser events, unstable poor performing 3.0. Never going to buy Motorola again or at least be an early EU adopter.
