DeX is the best feature of Samsung Android. It is the main reason that I stay with Samsung. It is great to see new features. I hope they continue development and do not let it die.

I do not know about Excel but Google Sheets works great with DeX.

You could always get one of those wide monitors. Would be almost like having two regular monitors.

I lost the ability to make Netflix full screen. I think it was due to the PIE update.

I have a setup at work and at home and I love it. The whole setup is not very portable, but if you want to use the same device in two places like a laptop, it works great. I have a GS9 and a cheapo USB hub.

You can save your own favorites and it puts those at the top, and then under that it lists the contacts that you use most often.
