Am I able to just buy a 42mm band for the Moto 360 (2015) and use that comfortably?

I'm worried the 46mm will be too big and I'll just be out of luck. Is there any difference between the two versions in regards to the watch itself and not the band?

Yeah, the bands are different between the 42 and 46mm versions, so they're not interchangeable. And that's because the watches are different.

Functionality, the 42 and 46 mm Moto 360 watches are identical. The only difference is in the physical size of the watch. The size of the watch bands are different for each watch, and not interchangeable. I've got the 42 mm size watch and it fits great on my wrist. The 46 mm was just too big for me.
