I was going to buy one of the original Moto G's and have been hard pressed to decide between the US and global versions because I spend time in Europe. I notice that the new G with LTE doesn't seem to come in two versions. Why is this? Even if LTE itself is a "universal" standard, the phone has to support 3g, HSPA, HDSPA etc, so that I would have thought it would face the same issues as the original version. Or have they just put all the necessary radio devices for all the different frequencies into this model? If so, it would solve my problem. I'm on a cheapo T-mobile MNVO that doesn't even offer LTE, but I would gladly buy it, just to be able to use it in both the US and Europe.
