Well, home with the sick little boy today. Decided to finally peel this thing open and get it rooted. Done. Yea. ....except the part where now I doona seem to have any WiFi connectivity. Look, I had to poke at this thing, that what I bought it for. It's just gyrates but never finds any WiFi networkz. Cleared the caches to no avail. Any advice?

Sorry to hear about your wifi issue after rooting. I don't know what could be the issue but you might be able to find some help from the people at xda. they tend to know more about the issues that may come up when rooting. I hope everything gets sorted out for you.
