Gmail syncing issues?

Anyone else having issues getting Gmail to sync automatically? I'm on the second round of trying to figure this out (fixed it last time, but can't figure it out this time).

I've tried clearing the system cache, uninstalling the Gmail app updates and reinstalling, clearing app data, deleting the Google account from my phone and readding, and still, when new messages come in (which are visible on the web) my phone isn't getting them pushed until I go into the Gmail app and manually refresh.

This is pretty frustrating especially given how nicely the Active Notifications work... I've done the "Report an Issue" thing through the Gmail app, but I don't know if anyone gets a response from those (I never have in 2+ years of owning an Android), so does anyone have any ideas they could share? It would be much appreciated!

Did you try going to settings in gmail and turning on sync?

I'm having issues too. This started lastnight. I've turned sync off and on, rebooted, etc.

Yep, I've tried doing that both from within the Gmail settings and from the Accounts section of the general settings app... Can't figure it out
