Moto X (1st gen): Emergency Dial while wearing dress slacks?

I'm wondering if this happens to anyone else. I keep my phone in my pants pocket, with the screen facing my thigh. When I wear dress slacks, I occasionally hear my phone dialing buttons on the emergency dial screen. I think it's the light cloth of the slacks. So right now I'm trying to remember to put my phone in with the screen facing outwards - which I don't like, but it's a test to see if emergency dial activates.

This happens to me as well if I forget to hit the power button before the phone goes back in my pocket. A garbled text message is usually the result.

The camera has launched and taken several pics in my gym shorts (thin material). I wrap my phone with a cloth and seems to help

Alex, I always hit the power button before putting my phone in my pocket. Like Edgar said, I think it's the thin material of certain cloths. Maybe I'll stick a napkin along with the phone haha.
