    ok, well, 2 questions. After rooting a Droid 3, is everything the same until a rooted app is installed?

    Is the SuperOneClick method the easiest, most reliable way to go for not so swift people (like me)?

    Yes (besides some internal programs that give you root) and yes one click is the best.
