Photos & Music Disappeared

after running updates and clearing cache on various apps on sunday, I now notice that all of my photos and music that were previously on my Droid Maxx have disappeared. Possibly related, the microphone quit working as well. Is there any way to recover the deleted data? Anybody else having issues with the microphone? I'm not too worried about the music, as I get most from amazon and it's in the cloud, but I didn't have my photos backed up to any cloud, at least from what I can tell.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you give us a few more details of the which caches you cleared, how you cleared them, and what updates you did? Are you rooted? Did you manually delete any folders using a file manager?
