How can I completely disable security so that I don't have to see the lock screen ever?

AC Question

how can i completely disable security so that i dont have to see the lock screen ever?

I have a Motorola Maxx. I don't need security for it. When I went into settings/security and screen lock/, I chose ' none', but my screen continues to go to a black screen lock page after idling for awhile, instead of my home page.
I installed an app called ' no lock' and re-booted, but it's still there.
There is no need for this extra step since I am not implementing any security on the phone.
Is there any way to delete/disable this screen?
Thank you.

The black screen is to prevent burn-in. If you leave the same image on the screen 24/7, eventually the image will be there even if the screen is showing something else. And the screen uses battery when it's on. You can change the screen timeout to 30 minutes, and set the screen (in Developer options) to not turn off when the phone is charging.
