Droid Turbo: Phone ear speaker died.....

I was on the phone 2 days ago and the speaker died while on a call. It was the speaker that goes next to you ear. I initially had problems hearing other on a call, but then it seemed to get better as time went on. Until 2 days ago... Took it into Verizon and they tried to give me a replacement. Problem was... they don't have the Kevlar back version available as a replacement. I refused the offer and called in. They took care of me there and sent me a new phone instead of a replacement.

This speaker on the new Turbo works substantially better.

I wonder if those who are also experiencing low volume will have their speakers go bad too?.. If so, replacement them and welcome to the new miracle ear! haha
