Widgets inactive on Lollipop

My Command Center widget has the spinning circle and won't load until a reset.

Other widgets, like Starbucks, just don't work at all.

Any ideas?

Don't know much 'bout the specific widgets you refer to.....but wondered if they perhaps were dependant on Location being set ? Just a thought.

Well, the weather part of command center might, but the clock shouldn't. I am at a loss. I have to reset about once every other day.

Seems like you should check the settings in the apps....i.e. Sky News requires background update setting interval to be set...for the app and the widget,
Have you got them all enabled or perhaps background activity disabled ?
