Default Ringtones in Downloads & won't move.

I downloaded ringtones and they are in the phone but they aren't being recognized. They are mp3 but they are in the wrong folder. I downloaded AndExplorer and I can see them, select them, even chose copy but I can't "paste" them into the correct folder. What gives? What am I missing?

What folder are you trying to move them to? You should be able to move them to the folder /storage/sdcard0/Ringtones (if that folder doesn't exist, you can create it). After you do that, the phone should be able to bring those ringtones up in its catalog. You might have to reboot to have them show up, though.

I'm not familiar with AndExplorer, but if you're still having problems with moving the files, try Total Commander or ES File Explorer.

I am having the exact same problem. And no matter what I do, I cannot save downloaded ringtones to my phone.
