Froyo brings accurate D-pad text selection to the Droid!

With the upgrade to Froyo on the Droid, we can now select and copy text directly in the gmail app! When in an email, simply hold down a shift key on the hardware keyboard and tap the D-pad in any direction. This activates the pointer. Now, use the D-pad to move the pointer to one end of you text selection, hit the D-pas center key, move the pointer to the other end of the selection and hit the D-pad center key again. The text is selected and copied to the clipboard. No more going to the gmail web page for selecting email text! By the way, the same technique works on websites too.
