Multimedia Dock

[Droid Queen]

Here is probably a stupid question, but since I'm newbie with Droid...

Is there any issue with leaving the Droid in the multimedia dock each
night for about 7 hours not only to charge it, but to use it as an alarm
clock? I guess my worry is about having the screen lit the whole seven
hours. Any problems with that? (guess I'm think screen image burn in like
with computers....)

It's convenient to have a phone, charger and alarm clock all working
together.

i think the dock is designed to basically make the phone a desktop clock, so i doubt that thre would be an issue with it

Thanks, I didn't think so but I would hate to find out that I ruined my
nice new fancy phone by doing something stupid....

Yeah, you won't have an issue. I used my blackberry for a year doing that.

My Droid is always in/on a dock. I have one on my nightstand, in my living room, in my car, and on my desk at work.

No, I charge mine and use it as the alarm clock and no problems yet...It has a year warrenty plus I have Insurance so that extends it to two years.

If you're really worried, you could always dim it (the light-bulb) or hit the sleep button.
