[UK] My Nexus 5X isn't connecting to 3G/Mobile Data

I got my nano SIM from Virgin today, and my contract was updated when I ordered the SIM to include 2GB of data. Virgin Mobile UK only has 3G currently and uses EE's network, so I'm wondering why my phone isn't connecting to mobile data. I have it enabled in my Settings, I've turned off WiFi, I've enabled and disabled Aeroplane mode, I've turned it on and off again, I've removed the SIM and put it back in and nothing seems to work.

Yes I have and have enabled the connection that is there.

Did you resolve your data issue? I got my 5x yesterday and am having the same issue.

Make sure the Project fi VPN is disabled if you started out with fi. (.... More[under Data Usage]>VPN)

If Virgin only offer 3g, might be worth picking the 3g only option if it's not already set?
