Lotes USB type C to USB type A Cable any good?

I found this cable and wondering if its safe to use with my N5X in my car to charge the phone in the car's built in USB port. I've used the port with my Note 4 and iPhone 6S+ but I know there is a lot of talk going around about USB type C cables.

For what it's worth, I have 3 of the 6' iOrange-E cables and find the build quality to be good. The braided cover feels premium and I have no concerns about coiling them and leaving them in a bag.

The editor of that wishlist is a Google engineer that has been on a cable crusade. He has also published a matrix of cables that he has tested and verified as following the USB-C spec (they don't all follow it). That can be found here Most of those are cables and chargers from Amazon.
