I am always being the curve with technology because I'm basically cheap. So, I just got my LG Nexus 5x. One, major blunder. I opened the box yesterday and pulled out a power plug that isn't for our electrical system. I ordered my phone off Amazon.mx and didn't check as close as I should have. H790 vs. H791 is a big deal when it's the only damned power plug with a USB-C plug in Oaxaca, Mexico.
I managed to find an amazing cube, 2x2x2 inches with buttons to push to make prongs jump out and holes to inset other prongs. It's a universal adapter I bought at Office Depot. Okay, it looks like Rube Goldberg resurrected but I can at least charge my Nexus 5x.
The Google backup worked like a charm. Everything came over flawlessly.
The holster I ordered was held up by customs in Mexico City. It's a $7 plastic holster. The way the guy and DHL looked at me I wondered if someone had packed it with cocaine.
I'm enjoying my Nexus 5x and appreciate the help I've gotten here. Thanks all.
