Questions about backups before rooting

I have an lg optimus elite on virgin mobile prepay and i have been researching how to root my phone, ive got that part handled but i cant seem to find a way to backup all of my apps and all other stored info from my internal memory and my sd card. I dont wanna have to re-download all of my apps and restart all of my games after i root my phone. Can someone please help me out. - thanks - fandroid23

O and ive tried backing up my data thru google but it only backs up certain things. The backup apps i find never do me much good either

Rooting the phone won't wipe anything out, so wit can use the poot method to root, then download super su and titanium, use titanium to backup your games and apps, install cwm, make a nandroid of the whole system then.... Have fun. Just a heads up though, some users have reported problems with titanium, you could also look into my backup root
