Trouble Flashing Recovery

I have rooted my week old Virgin Mobile Optimus V.

Now I am attempting to flash a recovery. I have followed instructions that I found here to download the file "flash_image" as well as a recovery image. The recovery image was renamed to vrecovery as per the reference guide provided by MMARZ. Both files have been loaded to the root directory of my sdcard.

When attempting to flash the recovery I get a message: No such file or directory

I have attached a couple of screen captures for you to look at. 1 shows the message and what I typed. (ignore the cad:not found message--that was because of a typing error. It's the lines below that and the last message that I don't understand) The 2nd screen capture shows the root directory of my sdcard.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm. Not sure what happened. I disconnected my phone and made a trip to the Wal-mart and when I re-connected everything worked just like it was suppose to...

You had typos

Your first attempt to cat was misspelled cad. Your second attempt had a misspelling in flash, your put fash.

Sometimes taking a break is the best way to solve a problem! ;)
