Stuck on 1.6

I understand that the 2.1 update is out everywhere throught he Sony PC companion, but it keeps telling me I have the latest software. I bought this phone from someone In NovaScotia, so I think it was originaly a Rogers phone. The box says its an x10a. I tried the PC companion, the Update Service, Debranding my phone and using the flashtool to flash the 1.6 generic north american firmware. I seem to run into a problem with each method. I don't see anything on my phone that says Rogers, like any Rogers specific apps, any mention of Rogers on the startup splash or in any of the settings. Any Ideas? Maybe Davinci Team?

Any help would be great!

If you already have flash tool, you could search and download the 2.3 GB ROM and flash your phone.
